These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the bestbiltong.com website and your relationship with ourselves. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the bestbiltong.com site. Please note that to use any of the services provided on the site, you are required to register as an authorised user. The bestbiltong.com site is provided to you free of charge for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using this site you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any changes will be notified to you via the e-mail address provided by you on registration or via a suitable announcement on our site. The changes will apply to the use of the site once we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the website or our services provided. If you continue to use our website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

Registration

  • To register with bestbiltong.com, you must be over eighteen years of age.
  • You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
  • You must inform us of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details

Customer Satisfaction

Our customers are very important to us and we would like to assist you in any way we can. Please lodge any complaints to administrator@bestbiltong.com. This will assist us in improving our service to you and help us in our mission for complete customer satisfaction.

Conditions of delivery

Deliveries are to all EU countries. All UK-mainland deliveries are next working day from the time of order confirmation unless otherwise stated. Some areas will require surcharges which will be confirmed before the order is processed. Please contact us if you are uncertain as to delivery charges. Please note that these deliveries are reliant on independent courier and postal companies, and thus cannot be fully guaranteed. We will, however, ensure our full support in the event of any problems that may arise regarding the delivery of your order, until this problem has been fully taken care of.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive your parcel as a signature for proof of receipt is required. If someone cannot be at the delivery address in the timeframe selected for your delivery, please ensure that you provide us with alternate delivery instructions i.e. work address or neighbour if necessary. If correct delivery instructions are not given at the time of order, or the driver is unable to deliver due to the customer not being at the receiving address at the time of delivery, we may have to pass on additional charges.

Orders from non-UK countries and some UK areas will require additional delivery charges. You will be informed of these charges before goods are sent.

We will use Royal Mail if the order is easier and cheaper to send this way. For instance, if the order is for biltong or small items only. We will refund the difference in cost to your card.

Office Hours

Should you wish to phone through your order, please contact us on 020 85463202. Our shop hours are 10am - 6pm, Monday - Saturday and 11am - 4pm Sunday. Online ordering can be done 24 hours a day. Email your enquiries / comments to info@bestbiltong.com

Delivery

Delivery to all UK areas will be charged a standard rate of £8.50 incl. of VAT for delivery for goods upto a maximum of 10kg. We will despatch all payed for goods, by the next working day. If this is not possible, you will be contacted.

  • Once your order is placed we send out a confirmation email containing your order reference number and an estimated delivery time. You may track your order at any time (see below for details). If we are unable to deliver within 2-3 days you will be contacted by us with an update.
  • Order tracking
    You can track your order at any time during the order process. To track your order contact customer services, by emailing us at delivery@bestbiltong.com
  • Special weekend delivery
    Weekend delivery is available but at a premium rate set by the courier company City Link. Please specify if you need this special weekend delivery or else your order will be delivered on Tuesday at the normal rate.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit/debit cards except American express or Diner cards. Payment can also be done through cheques, postal orders and bank transfers. Cheques may require five working days to clear. With Protx, your security is our top priority.     When you hit 'pay', your browser sends an https post to Protx, this includes details of the amount spent; a description of the goods; a unique id and a notification url. You are then redirected to Protx's secure payment gateway where you enter your card details. When you make a purchase using Protx, you will receive a confirmation email from Protx once the transaction has been completed.

Vat Items

Please note all items are displayed with the VAT inclusive price, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Security Policy

We have an effective security policy which we review regularly. All credit card payments are done using Protx.

Privacy Policy
We store only a Username and contact information for delivery and contact purposes on our servers. All of your secure payment information is held on the secure Protx servers and is subject to Protx privacy and security policy.

  • We will not sell or rent your information to third parties for marketing purposes and will only disclose your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and/or with your permission.
  • We will provide you with notice if our privacy policy changes and an opportunity to reject such changes.
  • We let you change your information so that you can keep it up to date.

Claims

For orders sent via Courier, all goods should be checked upon delivery. Claims need to be done within 48 hours of delivery. All goods need to be counted on receipt and any shortages or damage needs to be indicated at the time of delivery.

Any claim in respect of the above needs to be made via telephone on 020 85463202 or email to claims@bestbiltong.com.

No claims will be dealt with unless the above conditions are strictly adhered to. No credit or refund will be given for any goods ordered in error by the customer. No credit or refund will be given for any losses due to the incorrect storage or merchandising by the customer for any goods supplied by Bizzi B's Limited. Care instructions need to be adhered to for all of the products supplied.
